Summary

A new online buyer registration resource makes the entire process fast, easy and secure. Get all the registration info you need from our helpful web resource. IAA is making it easier to understand your bidding eligibility without logging in. This new functionality is available now at iaai.com, the feature comes to the Buyer Mobile App on September 4th.  In addition, IAA is adding PayPal as a registration and vehicle payment method in early September.

1.  New Online Registration Resource

IAA has created a new online buyer registration resource, packed with helpful information that will save you time and make the entire registration process simple. The new buyer registration web resource landing page will help you understand the secure online registration process, specify what you need to complete the process by buyer type (public vs. license business), and let you know what to expect once forms are submitted. Buyers can still contact the branches or the IAA Help Center for further assistance or questions.

2.  Bidding Eligibility Enhancement

We are making it easier for IAA buyers to understand their bidding eligibility status. Now when buyers visit our website they will clearly see their bidding status on every Vehicle Details page for units open for bidding. Bidding status will be available, even if you are not logged in. This enhancement is live on iaai.com desktop site now and will be available in the IAA Buyer Mobile App starting Friday, September 4th.

Four Color Codes

Each message will be color-coded based on the four scenarios below, so that each user can quickly understand their status and act accordingly.

  • Green: You can bid
  • Orange: You cannot bid
  • Yellow: You can bid, but sales tax will apply
  • White: You are not logged in
