Flexibility Vital to Helping Our Remarketing Partners Succeed

IAA’s industry-leading technology and innovation, along with a flexible approach, are helping our remarketing partners thrive in challenging times. 

When I try to sum up IAA’s approach to adding value for our remarketing partners during the past year, the word flexibility comes to mind. IAA shifted to a fully-digital auction platform months faster than planned to ensure our customers—buyers and sellers—did not miss a beat.  

Online Exclusive Sales 

We've continued to focus on flexible innovative solutions, particularly around Online Exclusive sales. Between our flexible approach and our Interact merchandising technology, our customers are taking notice. One remarketing customer who recently moved their business exclusively to IAA and is running an Online Exclusive sale on March 2 had this to say: 

“During the first few months of the shutdown we were scrambling like everyone else, with layoffs, positive COVID tests, and major business disruptions. IAA was there to help us manage our remarketing efforts through it all. Using the vast array of tools available to me, I am confident that IAA’s online platform is presenting my cars more effectively than many in lane auctions have been able to do in the past.”  

Virtual Lane Exposes Inventory to New Audiences

Another example of IAA leveraging a flexible approach on behalf of remarketers is the IAA Virtual Lane™ auction. We created Virtual Lane last summer as an option to list remarketer vehicles via auction aggregators to expose their inventory to a wider audience. Vehicles are offered simultaneously in multiple marketplaces with no need to relocate them, saving remarketers costs. All this is offered at no extra cost. How’s that for flexible?! 

Best-in-Class Dealer CAT Service 

Never is IAA’s flexibility more critical to remarketers than in catastrophic situations. And considering the catastrophic weather in Texas and the South-Central region last week, we can certainly say it is always CAT season! IAA is always at the ready to provide our best-in-class Dealer CAT Service to help remarketers get back in business after weather-related events. Let us know when we can jump into action to help clear your lots of weather-damaged inventory, any time of year.
